So, it all started when I got fired.
Well, technically made redundant.
But honestly, it was probably the push I needed.
I’d spent years working across regional marketing, media, digital, social and websites, helping hundreds of businesses work out how to get in front of the right people.
When the job disappeared, pretty much everyone I knew in the industry said the same thing:
Do it yourself.
So I did.
Homeground Marketing was born.
I know marketing. I also know regional business.
I grew up in Sea Lake, studied marketing at RMIT and now live in Horsham.
And I’ve spent most of my career working with regional businesses.
I’ve seen what happens when marketing is done by people who don’t really understand the market, the customers or the business.
That’s not how I work.
I’ll come in, ask questions, look at the whole picture and tell you what I actually think you should do.
Sometimes that’s social.
Sometimes it’s your website.
Sometimes it’s ads.
Sometimes it’s doing less.
I’m not here to sell you a thing.
I’ve worked across social, digital, websites, media, campaigns and strategy.
Which means I can look at the whole picture, not just one little bit of it.
If something makes sense, I’ll tell you.
If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you that too.
No bullshit. No trying to make marketing more complicated than it needs to be.
You know your business.
I know marketing.
That’s the whole idea.
